Dear Faculty and Students,
To upgrade the service capacity of our microscopic imaging platform and facilitate the application of multi-color fluorescence labeling, live-cell dynamic imaging and Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM), ZJE Core Facility collaborates with Leica Microsystems to organize a free demo and hands-on training for the integrated STELLARIS FALCON FLIM confocal microscope.
The training consists of theoretical lecture and practical operation sessions, open to all faculty, postdocs and postgraduate students engaged in cell, molecular and neurobiology imaging research. All researchers with sample testing demands are welcome to sign up.
Core Instrument Performance
STELLARIS WLL full-spectrum white light laser: Tunable excitation ranging from 440–790 nm, compatible with multi-label fluorescence experiments. It effectively reduces fluorescence crosstalk and sample phototoxicity, enabling long-term live-cell time-lapse imaging.
Power HyD high-sensitivity detector: Tunable detection range of 410–850 nm, greatly improving signal-to-noise ratio for faint fluorescence samples and FLIM acquisition.
FALCON high-speed FLIM module: Nanosecond-scale resolution to detect biological information invisible to conventional intensity imaging, including protein-protein interactions, cellular metabolism and intracellular microenvironment variations.
Integrated confocal system that balances fast scanning speed and high spatial resolution, supporting simultaneous multi-parameter composite imaging.
Training Schedule
