Introduction of instruments：
BD Influx is a cell sorter based on irradiating a jet in the air for fluorescence excitation and detection. Its innovatively designed a unique acoustical coupling in the nozzle allows high-speed sorting under low sheath fluid pressure. This design reduces the impact of the sorting process on cells and allows the sorted cells to maintain higher activity, so it is suitable for primary tissue cells , Sorting and subsequent culture or single cell research of various types of stem cells, granulocytes and other fragile and sensitive cells
The BD Influx is equipped with 5 lasers(355, 405, 488, 561, and 640nm) and 4 nozzle tips(70, 86, 100, and 140 µm), and can achieve six-way sorting into tubes or single cell sorting directly into plates or slides at high speed and high purity on up to 21 parameters (forward & side scatter and 19 colors). Users should prepare their cells at a concentration of ~10 million per ml and pass them through a 40µm cell strainer filter as the last preparation step.
