ZJECF Technical Lecture |Go Optical Introduction

蔡政     2026-10-22 14:07

Dear Faculty and Students,

ZJE Core Facility, in collaboration with MGI, is launching a free demo of the Go Optical. This demo includes a theoretical lecture and hands-on instrument training, and is open to all faculty, postdocs and postgraduate students. All researchers with sample testing demands are welcome to sign up.

Instrument Introduction:

Go Optical is a versatile upright fluorescence microscope integrating optical, mechanical, electronic , and computational technologies. Specifically designed for Stereo-seq spatial omics, it features epi- illumination and transmitted-light brightfield imaging, multichannel fluorescence imaging, a 100 × 70 mm motorized stage, automatic focusing, and whole-slide panoramic stitching. With a stitching error of ≤ 5 μm, it meets the stringent imaging precision requirements for downstream spatial omics analysis.

In spatial omics applications, Go Optical serves as a core imaging instrument for Stereo-seq library preparation, enabling high-quality imaging and data acquisition of spatial chips.

Beyond spatial omics, the system also supports routine digital scanning and archiving of pathological sections, morphological documentation in drug research, multichannel imaging for multiplex immunofluorescence, and brightfield-assisted observation of materials and precision samples . By supporting both spatial omics and non-spatial applications on a single platform, Go Optical helps maximize research value and return on investment.
